Margaret Orlowska The Hope For Tomorrow story grew from the tragedy of a Polish girl who needed surgical help she could not get in her homeland.
Margaret
Orlowska is from Poland. At 18 years old she was in a fiery automobile
accident that left her face destroyed. The Polish American community of
Buffalo, New York heard of her plight and raised the necessary funds to
bring her to Buffalo, where in 1991, the Erie County Medical Center and
Dr. Jeffrrey Meilman donated their services to help restore her beauty.
What they did was a miracle.
It
took a lot of people caring about others in need that made Margaret's
life change. But Margaret's story changed them too and because of her
the Hope For Tomorrow Foundation was born.
Margaret was blessed by Pope John Paul II in 1992.
